Bring Democracy to America
While it’s admirable that our soldiers are sacrificing their lives in the struggle to bring democracy to Iraq, might someone step forward to bring democracy to America?Thanks to the hipsters over at Queer Today for posting a link to a recent article by Robert Kennedy Jr. in Rolling Stone about the disturbing events that took place during the 2004 election.

If what Kennedy asserts is in fact true (and he lays out a compelling case) and the will of the people was subverted by a systematic and partisan campaign to commit election fraud, then we are no longer living in a democracy.
Perhaps once we’ve brought democracy to the people of Iraq, they can come over here and bring it to us.

As comments must be approved by you, I don't mind at all going all this way back in time to find this post of yours fantastic. Among friends here, we've said the same many, many times. However, what strikes me most strongly is the fact that nobody made a slight effort to post any comment. So I've an important question: are Americans nowadays so careless about what their country may become, namely, a ranch of bandits? As far as the administration is concerned, of course.
I've been reading some blogs these last few weeks, and many bloggers seem(ed) quite engaged in disclosuring every mischief. I wish you could cast some light upon it...
