Göz Lokum
That’s “eye candy” in Turkish. But you don’t have to be Turkish to enjoy göz lokum. And göz lokum is everywhere, not just in Turkey, though Turkey has its fair share. The painting is entitled Under the Western Sun and it was painted in 1917 by Henry Scott Tuke (1858-1929). He was well known for painting göz lokum.
More göz lokum to come, so stay tuned.

This painting reminds me of beautiful beach on the tribal land of Aquinnah...
Sandouri Dean Bey looks just like the lad on the left side of the painting, if anyone cares to know.
I care to know. So he's "Goz Lokum" too, eh?
I guess some people think so.
